Jimmy Eat World Tour 2025
Jimmy Eat World tour 2025 announced: Emo favorites Jimmy Eat World and Dashboard Confessional will embark on a joint tour of the United States at the end of next month. The bands announced the tour on Tuesday (January 11), revealing just under a month of tour dates, which will take place mainly in the Southwest, Midwest and Southeast United States and will last mainly until March.
We all knew the early 2000s were back, but now they’re really back. Jimmy Eat World and Dashboard Confessional, two milestones of the emo/punk boom of the 80s, go on tour together. The "Surviving the Truth Tour" will begin in Albuquerque on February 27 and end in Houston three weeks later.
The tour will pass through the Midwest and South. For Dashboard Confessional, the tour time could not be better. Chris Carrabba released a new album, All The Truth That I Can Tell, on February 25. Last year, Jimmy Eat World celebrated the 20th anniversary of their hit album Bleed American.
The name of the tour "Surviving the Truth Tour" comes from the last albums of the two bands. Jimmy Eat World toured in support of their album Surviving, which was released in October 2019 and spawned the singles "All the Way (Stay)", "Love Never", "555" and "Criminal Energy". Dashboard Confessional, meanwhile, are touring in support of their new album, All the Truth That I Can Tell, which will be released on February 25, one day before the band starts their tour at the Innings Festival in Tempe, Arizona. The band released a new song, "Here’s to Moving On", last fall.
Jimmy Eat World 2025 tickets will be on sale this Wednesday (January 12) at 10 am (local time), while the general pre-sale will start on Friday (January 14) at 10 am (local time).
